I got the DGV rig from Steve at Northwest Import Parts. It uses the
Pierce manifold. The install was very easy and it works as
advertised. The one tweak was that I got the manual choke model,
which needed some bending of the linkage wire to set the idle up
during choke. I have been very pleased with the performance. The
idle mixture was easy to set and there is no hesitation and good
acceleration. Note well that some of the Weber rigs might not be
drop-ins with regard to the jets supplied with the carb. I can at
least say that the ones from this source are already set up for B's.
I have bought a bunch of stuff from Steve and have always been
satisfied. He is a thoroughly pleasant guy to do business with, and
will give sound advice regardless of whether he makes a profit. I
would hasten to add that I have had similar experience with Dick
Burger. I have not yet dealt with Hal Rogers.
