Saloon or what

Well acording to my Haynes Manual (the English to American Section)
A saloon is the English term for sedan.  And a drop head coupe is a
converitble so a fixed head coupe is sorta like a (dare I say it) Dodge Viper
GTS Coupe (basically a convertible with a permanent hard top).
