My 1972 MGB has a >wire quick tab next to the quick tab going to the fuel gauge, but >with nothing connected to it or any thing around to connect it to? My B's have an earth wire connected to the body under the nearest tank mounting bolt. Without this, sender earthing is from sender to fixing ring to tank to body - a bit tenuous.
