To the person who wrote in about converting a 1978 MGB
from the stock single carb and exhaust:
I converted my '80 to dual HS4s using pre-1974 exhaust
and intake manifolds (used). I got the carbs, complete with
linkages, new from Roy Matthews in Sebastopol, CA
(707-823-1957). I had no problems with them once I got
the right needles. The dual carb conversion makes
a major difference in the power curve, in addition to the fact
that they look better under the hood.
