Read the coolant/antifreeze bottle and see the claim about preventing
boil overs to 265 degrees F(*). Look for the fine print the asterisk
is refering to and see that you need a 15 psi system. Well the thing
is, pure water in a 15 psi system boils at 256 degrees F. So the
coolant doesn't really do anything for high temperatures it really
only keeps it water from freezing up solid at 32 degrees F and has
some corrosion inhibitors.
