To Who Ever It Was,
I was reading the list on Wed. and saw a posting about installing
inexpensive non formed carpet kits . I inadverdently "deleted " it . Any
way I was going to tell them if they would but some 3M spray contact cement #
8090 . Not sure of the #'s, could be 9090. Any who the parts guy will know,
It's the heavier duty of 8080 of 8090 that is good for laying carpet. I made
my own carpets using the originals as patterns and stuck them down with the
3M Glue. Worked great for contours. This was on a GT so I had lots to do.
I think the carpet was about $90. bucks and the glue around $20, For the
rear storage area I used felt carpet pad to attach the carpet. Check your
local uphosterly shop for the carpet. Mine took around four yards.
