About that thok, I've noticed it, too, just after a front-end rebuild. I'm going to tighten the knockoffs now with the advice, but I've been waiting to replace the ball-joints. My thought is that a bad ball joint will cause the front end to sound bad when braking, since there will be play from a wheel that is otherwise aligned in the direction of the car. (?) At any rate, I'll get back to you. (By the way, I have bad ball joints now). Erik |
