In trying to adjust the timing on my '79 B, the timing fluctuates somewhat. The timing advance springs are weak and are apparently the cause. I have checked the VB and Moss catalogs. VB doesn't even list the springs. Moss lists them, but doesn't show a price. I surely can't afford to replace a distributor just to replace the springs. Anyone have a source for these, or know of a substitute fix? Thanks in advance, Ed Ed Taylor (etaylor@nr.infi.net) |
