This leads me to a question. I've been told that chrome plating isn't done
in the UK, only nickel plating. Is this true? If so, why?
In California, chrome plating has become expensive due to EPA regulations.
I'm tempted to disguise MGB bumpers as skis, check them as baggage to
Denver and have them rechromed there. I wonder if my company would catch
it on my expense account. Just kidding!
