Fellow MG enthusiasts:
For two weeks now, the thread about when and how it is best to check your oil
has been circulating all over the net. I have the simple solution to end all
of the controversy.
Gentlemen (and ladies), these are British cars aren't they? The way one knows
when to add oil is when the spot on the concrete where the car is parked, is
less than six inches in diameter (approximately one tablespoon). This is
based on the universal British car truth that...If it doesn't leak oil, then
there's not any in it!
Now stop it!
