MGB Engine Rebuild Tips

Can anyone recommend engine modifications / assembly tips for my '70 B

Modifications to date:
     - 20 thou over on cylinders
     - new larger pistons
     - 10 thou over on crank
     - street, semi performance reground cam and lifters.

1) Does anyone have any general  / assembly tips? ( I have Moss video)

2) Should I change the SU HS carb jets (HS4 I believe, not measured yet) 
from
     stock to a modified jet?   type/size

3) What type of distributor should I use?  brand/model
     - stock
     - duel point
     - electronic   
     - other
