| Thanks to all who responded to to my MGA cooling concerns. Last
evening I received the Water Wetter from Moss and added 8 oz.
to the radiator and I also inserted a temporary shroud behind
the grill, in front of the radiator, to channel the air directly
into the radiator face. Although the ambient temperatures were
in the mid-eighties, and not in the nineties when I had the
operating temps. of 212 - 220 F last week, the gauge never rose
above 200F despite a half hour running at speeds of 70 plus mph.
Mostly , the needle sat at a hair above 195F. I'm not sure
how much the shroud is contributing, but I'll leave it in to
get a good performance profile and then remove it and see if there
is a difference. I'm encouraged enough to consider taking the car
to Columbus, Ohio for the Len Imke car meet this weekend. Any one
        else on the list going?
