Don't be so fast to change the fuel pump ( located under between the
battery box and gas tank) disconnect electrical connections and clean
male ends with emery paper and replace chinese fingers where possible.
I bet 50% of all fuel pumps changed are good. Also put a fuel filter in
the feed line to pump ( between tank and pump) this will stop any
crudlies that may find there way into the pick up tube from entering
the pump and causing damage.
Brakes: If the pedal sinks you got a leak somewhere. Always! This means
stop as soon as possible and do not drive until repair is made.
