Greetings,

I had to leave the '74 Midget tonight before I threw something at it
in a rage! Net wisdom required.

I'm replacing the rear wheel cylinders and upon removing the old "C"
clip that holds it against the backing plate, it broke in two! No problem,
the new cylinder comes with a shiny new one. WRONG! The new clip also broke
while trying to install it into the groove. It appears the clip has to be
pushed into the groove from the open end but it splits in two as it is going
on. I have installed many if these critters in my years but never had this
problem. What is the trick to getting these suckers on before I break the
one remaining clip.

Regards,
Bob (maybe I should stick to Sunbeams) Hamilton
