Actually, I was rather surprised when I was cleaning up the digest yesterday.
It seems there are a number of folks who aren't even bothering to put any
effort into cleaning up and editing the text they include in their replies.
The entire thing, relevant or not, just gets thrown in.  Are people really
this lazy, or do they just have no idea how their mailer works?
