Freely turning brake adjusters are a must- do them right once, and you'll be
fine for many years.
-Remove the brake drums.
-remove shoes & the wedges that push against the shoes.
-Soak the adjuster from both sides with WD40
-Hopefully, you'll be able to turn it some- if not, you may need to remove the
body (MGB, Magnette, but not midget) and use some heat. Midget is fixed to
the backing plate
-Work it back and forth until you can turn it enough to remove it compltely.
-Clean all the threads with a wire wheel- also clean the threads in the body.
-coat the adjuster and wedges lightly with anti-seize before re-assembling.
