Good tips. Just a note to those people with later MG's (about '68 and newer, I imagine). The steering column is energy absorbing, and should never be struck with a hammer or damage will occur. I got my steering wheel off by removing the nut and rocking the wheel firmly back and forth to break the taper. If anyone has additional information, let me know. Dave |
