To whom it may concern:
Somehow, I ended up with eight transmissions for three cars and four of them
have overdrive, so I'm selling one of the OD trannies.
The one that's for sale is a three-synchro tranny that has the bigger input
shaft to mate up to a five-main engine. I'm the third owner in a row who
hasn't had the thing in a car, but I have inspected the gears and synchros
and everything looks good except for a tiny chip in first gear. Because of
this chip, I'll be throwing in the original non-OD tranny to my '66 B. This
transmission has good gears and synchros, but a bad bearing. I tested the
OD solenoid by applying 12 volts and it clicked, so it at least works
electrically.
The price is $500, which is what I paid for just the OD tranny. This doesn't
include shipping the two trannies. Both are located in San Diego, CA.
