"A 1450 mile round trip in a ew year old car" is an ADVENTURE!
Take your time, enjoy the back roads, stay off the interstates unless you're
masochistic and in way too much of a hurry, stop in small towns in front of
Main Street coffee shops for breaks, and pretend it's 1963, Kennedy's
president, and you're on your way home from seeing Stirling Moss at Watkins
Glen. If something breaks, fix it. That's part of the adventure.
When you get back, read Burt Levy's "The Last Open Road"
Cheers
Have a great trip.

(I've done it many times in many parts of the country in a 60 Healey as well
as a 71 MGB.)
