Rick:

My own situation is a lot like yours, but
my wife wanted the car(67 B.), and as a present
I got it for her. The problem was, I could not keep
her hands off it, all she wanted to do was drive
it. This all sounds much like Denise(from the cold
area). When my wife told me that the paint job looked
terrible and that I needed to repaint it, thats when roof came
down. That was 8 years ago, and this weekend was the first
time the car was started. New gas and soaked up carbs later
and it started right up.

The paint job is closer, now that all of the paint is removed
to bare metal. Speaking from an old man that enjoys working on cars,
I learned as I went, and I will speak for myself, but I have enjoyed
it all the way.

The car "sounds" good, but like some other folks have mentioned you
definetly need to check out everything, especially if you are not
mechanically inclined.

Hope this helps and feel free to call anytime.

Thanks

Tom Wagner
