Valve guides

Since I have to pull the head on 78 MGB to replace a leaky head gasket, I
had a question on valve guides.  I feel they are leaking and need to be
replaced.  But, do I or should I replace the valves at the same time.
Engine runs great and the compression is pretty good.  If I don't want to
mess with the valves if I don't have to.

Ideas?
