Having removed all the rubber from the hatch for painting, I should remember
exactly what you are describing, but perhaps it changed from 66 to 70.
In any case, my outer seal, that was held by the aluminum bar at the top
and circled all the way to the bottom to join at the latch, was entirely
glued to the hatch. Both the outer and inner seals were glued to the
hatch.
