Hi, Just a note about the service interval counters it appears as though
they were on'72 to '76 MGB's according to a parts catalogue I have. My
80B doesn't have one.
Regarding my broken speedo & the "right angle drive": At the end of the
speedo cable is a metal part which is screwed
into another part which is almost entirely plastic & has plastic threads is
bolted to the trany. Wish I knew the names of each of the two parts.
(are they both considered the right angle drive?) Anyway,
the metal outer part had a fitting on it that broke off so I replaced
only this outer metal part & my speedo is now working.Just some additional
inform. for the guy with speedo problem. Phil...
