engine color

Hi.

During my engine/engine compartment
overhaul I've now come to the point of
painting my engine, since there is no
traces of paint left on the engine, what
color should it be? Maroon red?
Should the sump, rocker cover & front cover
be in the same color?  The car is a -72 B roadster.
