Make sure you get a sturdy steel battery tray (Speedway Mtrs) has a nice
one for hotrods ~$25) and secure it firming to the chassis rail in the trunk.
Add a starter relay (Universal Ford-type) mounted to the tray in the
trunk. This prevents the large starter cable from being live all the time, only
when the starter is engaged. May stop a burn-down if the cable should ever short
to the frame. This relay is activated by the starter lead from the ignition
switch. A additional 10gauge wire is run from the battery to the fuse box for
the rest of the electrics. This wire should have a fusible link for protection.
