With regard to the coys festival.
Make sure you have last little piece of paper copied in triplicate signed
double signed and signed again just incase the "Officials" from the FIA
decide to make it a nightmare for competitors as they did for all the
pre-war sports car racers last year.
Any one who is over for Coys should note that the weekend before is the
Vintage Sports Car Club's premier hillclimb at Prescott (in the beautiful
cotswoulds). A superb meeting with 250 plus pre war cars including a
large class of edwardians etc as well as the usual exotic racers. Last
year as well as the usual crop of ERAs, Bentleys, Bugattis (including a
4WD!), Rileys MGs and there were a fine selection of specials. Where else
whould a Jazz band walk up the hill duiring the lunch interval.
A true pre-war party with a lot of drama, and not a camper/modern car in
sight in the padock!
