My son just installed a newly rebuilt cylinder head (new valves guides & seals) on his 74 midget. The problem is, that it is now burning oil where it did not burn any before he pulled it apart. The engine has about 60,000 miles on it, never had a rebore but new rings were put in about 10,000 miles ago. The dry/wet compression readings with the new head are 140/150 +/- 5 in all cylinders. Any suggestions? thanks, Gene |
