My PO seemed to be a member of the "originality" crowd (for which I'm happy)
and I wondered at the primrose ('69) having a chopped air-pump-type T-stat
cover, but NOT having the air pump or matching head. I seem to remember
glancing at the "Original MGB" book while buying the prim and seeing that
the smogged head was put in halfway through the year. I know CA is one of
*those* states, so you might check to make SURE you need a drilled head
before committing.
