I wonder why folks figure you're feeble-minded when you drive with the top
down in the cold or wet, but people on motorcycles in the same weather don't
get a second glance.

Then there's the problem of having a vinyl top that shrinks and gets rigid
in the cold.  More than once I've countered the "it's too cold to have the
top down" criticism with "no, it's too cold to put it up."
