to be sure is to flush the entire system with a buffer. Isopropyl alcohol
can be used for this flush. Drain the old fluid, fill the master cylinder
with alcohol and bleed the system thoroughly. The procedure and wheel
sequence is well covered elsewhere in this thread. Only after you have
clean alcohol coming from all four wheel cylinders is it safe to add the
silicone fluid. As an added precaution I would replace all the seals and
cups in the entire system just before refilling with silicone.
