MG 1100's make lousy beater cars because they have too much CLASS and because
to use one as a beater would identify the driver as one who can't recognize
engineering brilliance when he is sitting inside it.

If you want a beater, buy another MGB.  They're everywhere and besides, what
do you think the B stands for.
