I've been unable to obtain a definitive answer, maybe someone out there
knows for sure:
my '59 A coupe has the instrument panel, and the dashboard above it, finished
in leather. I have seen others that have leather on the instrument panel only
or none at all - the panel and dash being painted the same color as the rest
of the car. I have also noticed ragtops seem to vary on the finish material.
Having spoken to several original owners of the cars results in varying
answers.
The question: was this a factory option or was it a feature added on by the
dealers?
Also, were radios a factory option? (I should know but ashamedly don't)
