I apologize. I wasn't clear. Although I've gotten plenty of good =
responses, everyone assumed I was driving a pre-75 Midget. My mistake. =
The car is a '75 and uses the 1500 cc Triumph Spitfire engine. Only one =
carb, and it's on the opposite side.
Even still, I can't find a plug. Anybody else have a clue?

Hey folks.
I've got a bit of a problem, and hope you can help.
My Midget won't start, it's something electrical, I believe. Oddly =20
enough, that's not the problem that concerns me, right now. The
problem is, the cooling system only contains a small amount of
anti-freeze, and I'm afraid that the water may freeze and crack
the block.
I assume the best thing to do is simply drain the water, then wait till
warmer weather.
My question? How can I safely drain all the water from the block and be =

sure there's none left? I tried the lower radiator hoses, but the the
thermostat is closed, so that only helps half the situation. Is there
a coolant drain plug on the block somewhere?
