Hello,

I push my '66 hard sometimes, but I must admit I do sometimes wonder
if the wire wheels will give in a hard turn <g>. Also, the steering
wheel is a little cumbersome, but if I replaced it my B would loose a
lot of its charm.
I few years back I upgraded the suspension on my MGB with an
aftermarket kit I bought from MOSS, which helps, but I imagine a sway
bar would make a world of difference. At least my '66 doesn't have a
load of emmission controls to slow it down... only a bad fuel mixture
:-)
I wouldn't mind driving a Miata... I can definately see many
advantages of owning one... but there is nothing that can replace
driving a true classic!!
Later,
Ross
(proud ownder of almost fully restored '66 MGB)
