Hello All,
After spending most of vacation doing a rebuild (After we ate the rod
bearing!! Oh MY!!!), I have a completely new motor (Pistons, cam,
tappets, etc...). I decided to install a Hi performance cam from
Moss during the rebuild. All things considered, the car is running
great (Idle/Power). When I checked the plugs after a good run they
seem to be a little on the lean side. I have access to an emissions
analyzer so I decided to give it a shot. To my surprise the analyzer
shows a very rich idle mix. The carb's are recently rebuilt stock
HIF4's. Has anyone on the list tried changing to a different
jet/needle combination for a similar situation?? If so where might
one obtain them, and is there anything in particular I should look
for when purchasing them, or am I barking up the wrong tree???
Thanks in Advance............
