Oh. I see. I've actually seen these before. I thought they were aftermarket
modifications, though.
Anybody else know anything about the differences between the two cars?

I'm sure you'll get much more verbose and detailed answers, but...
The factory put out a Limited Edition (LE) version of the MGB late in the
run, of like 500 (5000?) cars. They were black, with white stripes, had an
air dam below the front rubber bumper, had special alloy wheels, and a shiny
dash plaque. Mechanically, I don't believe there were any differences
between them and the standard ones, but I could be wrong.
