I don't think it is because you are a woman. I think it is more a case of
the parts guy thinks he knows more about cars than anybody. Especialy
if I go in dressed nice (shirt and tie) btw I have 23 years profesional
automotive experiance, including 3 years of college studing automotive
enginering. It really makes me crazy when some 19 year old is trying to
tell me about cars that were built before he was born!
So don't take it so personal, But not being a woman I probably
shouldn't assume that we would be treated the same. It must be tough to
be a woman in a mans world. Hang in there.
