Fellow fiends:
I regret to report that my spouse does not involve herself very much in the
care and operation of Old Whitesides. In fact, she thinks the B is, in
general, "rather common" and "uninteresting." Says the same thing about the
Miata. (sigh) :-/
On the positive side, she is *thrilled* with the Morgan, at a minimum,
presumably, because it is all the things the B isn't and isn't all the
things that the B is (if you follow me). She has, in the past two years or
so, increased her interest in cars via her own hobby, photography, and is
now as willing as I to go to local shows and such. She has come back with
some really very nice compositions (IMHO) of many different marques. Still
and all, her involvement is in the aesthetics, not the mechanics.
On the negative side, she wants something called a "Porsche 356." I don't
know what that is. Is it German? It sounds like a Fassbinder film. Would
I have to buy metric wrenches?
