Well heres what I did on my 68 B. but YMMV especially on a later RB car.
Front:
3/4 Roll Bar
Redid kingpin assembly with V8 bushings and Nylatron at shock pivot
(I will eventually replace V8's with Nylatron it's just to much hassle
right now)
Uprated front springs (1" lower) (Vic Brit $79 pair)
Lower Bump stop (Moss)
Tube Shock Conversion. (Moss)
(I would not recomend this if you don't check the bolts frequently as if
they become loose they can shear off. Good original shocks with uprated
springs or MOSS coil over spring $$$$$$ is the way to go)
Rear:
Uprated Springs (1" lower) (Vic Brit $149 pair)
Nylatron Shackle Bushings (Moss)
Nylatron Spring Pads. (Moss)
Tube Shock Conversion (Moss)
The car handles like it's on rails.
This coupled with a ported and polished head, Long Center Branch
Manifold, Free Flow exhaust, K&N Filters, Lucas Sport Coil and Electronic
Ignition makes a really nice driving B (In My Humble Opinion).
MOSS UK have a really nice pamphlet called "Performance MGB" which covers
a lot of nice mods you can do, as well as performance figures for various
cars.
