After calling 15-20 motorcycle places trying to find 50 wt fork oil, what I found was that everyone stocks 10wt to 20/30 wt. One place could special order 40 wt. It seems there is no such thing as 50 wt fork oil. Next question: would it be OK to use 50 wt SYNTHETIC oil? I have always heard that using motor oil will cause the seals to deteriorate - is this true? Again, any help will be appreciated. TIA Glenn Mapes <gmapes@ball.com> 1968 MGB |
