another overdrive trouble

hello to the MG mailing list members!

I am restoring a 72 MGB roadster (originating from Arizona) since 94.
I have completely dismantled the o/d and changed gaskets, seals and bearings 
but it doesn't work now.
pump and valves seems to be OK but I don't known how I can check the
solenoid because its strength (sorry I hope it is the good word) seems too weak.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
