Now if I've understood you problem correctly - I don't have my english/american
dictionary to hand.
You close the rocker panel to outer wheel well gap by bending the flanges on
the rocker panel.
The fender to rocker gap is more of a problem, do you mean the gap below the
door or at the bottom or in the wheel well.
In the UK panels from any source including Moss, Rover (OEM - original
equipment manufacturer) and British Motor Heritage who own/use the original
tooling may need small (i.e. upto 1/8") adjustments. Its all just part of the
body repairing art. I don't know for sure but I would expect the original body
manufacturing tolerances to be up to 1/8"
