Someone correct me but wasn't the term `White Gas' use to refer to unleaded in the 60's?? In Massachusetts, and I think also in R.I. during the 70's the term "white Gas" referred to Amoco premium gasoline. If my memory is correct, the same product, or at least gas using the same logo was called Standard rather than Amoco. |
