| Subject: | Retrieving stored MGB |

I have a 1967 MGB that has been stored at my mother-in-laws for
three years while I have been overseas. I has been driven occasionally,
but as time passed, less frequently.
I'd like to go retrieve the car (in Elmira NY) and drive it home to
Washington DC, a trip of about 250 miles.
Do any of you have any advice about things I could do or check on
the car to increase my chances of making the trip home? Or of things to
carry with me (cellular phone, AAA number, Hertz rent-a-truck number,
Gideon's bible...)?
Thanks, RD
