RE: SU manual

I find the Haynes manual very adequate for all I do. I contains a chapter on 
each of the major types, so much of it is useless to me. Nonetheless, it's a 
worthwhile purchase.

If your car is an older one which uses H style carbs, however, the Blower or 
Bentley manuals have just as much information.

The best advice, however, is that if it works - don't fix it. Once set up 
properly, SU carbs last a long time (until the owner starts messing with 
them).
