I don't have the original post, but there has been some discussion of a car where it appeared that the timing mark on the flywheel was over 90 deg. off. Couldn't this be caused by the plug wires being installed incorrectly in the distributor cap - correct sequence but 90 deg. off, that is #1 where #3 should be, etc. I've done that!
