I am not an MGA man, however let me throw out a possible answer for a B. The fuel and Temp guage on a B both operate at 10 volts. Since the car has a 12 volt system there is a voltage step down mounted on the fire wall near the bonnet release. This unit could be faulty or no longer properly grounded causing 12 volts to pass through your guage and read high. Andy '74BGT |
