Dear fellow MG lovers,
Though this seems like a question that provokes the typical RTFM
answer, I am really in dire need of a good hint. A few months ago
I got a good deal on a wooden steering wheel. Since it was close
before the winter hibernation for the Midget I didn't bother to
put on the new wheel when I found myself in trouble with taking
the old one off. I just couldn't get it off!
Here's what the Haynes manual says (I read it, I read it):
"Unscrew and remove the small screw from the side of the
steering wheel boss, where this is fitted, and prise off
the motif cap..."
Ok, but _where_ is that darn screw and might that be the
important little thing to take off BEFORE trying to take
off the wheel? I couldn't find that screw anywhere.
I appreciate any helpful hints. Quite a few are getting ready
to take their lbc out of the hibernation state and even some
started already teasing me. There are only a few things to do
and then vrroooommm... ;-)
Cheers,
Gus
