Allen--My sister had a Honda that was spewing smoke from under the hood.
She was near a Honda dealer so drove in. They lifted the hood and saw smoke
coming from the air filter. Removal of the filter cover showed smoked
acorns. The squirrels were storing for the winter.
On the subject of tires: My '61 has less than 93,000 miles and is on its
3rd or 4th set of tires - the sidewalls crack. I hesitate from spending $$$
on new tires that are going to crack, but the retreads on it are coming off.
The spare is the original Dunlop Gold Seal with wide white wall. Any
suggestions what to put on the original solid wheels?
