SOMETIMES you get what you pay for, certainly not always, and certainly not
always in the British car hobby.
Many sellers have poorly fitting high priced items in their catalog, so
price alone is not a guarantee. I believe that is the "why" of the original
post, seeking first hand experience.

Bear in mind you get what you pay for, even if they are supposed to be the
correct item for your year. Some repro parts barely fit properly, let alone
work properly. "Pretty much" may be no-where near close enough.
